Stephanie Lake-Melton, PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant
Stephanie joined Stoughton OrthoTeam as a Physician Assistant in April 2019. She has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UW-Madison and a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from UW College of Medicine and Public Health. She has spent her PA career in Family Medicine and Orthopedics. She enjoys developing supportive relationships with her patients through providing education and fostering positive healthcare outcomes.
“Especially in Orthopedics, we meet people who are facing pain, debility, and possible long-term rehab which can be frustrating and depressing. In addition to caring for an injury or surgery, we are here to help, encourage, and support patients during their journey.”
Stephanie lives in Beloit with her husband, Jim, and their grumpy, old dog, Jeager. They have two grown children, Braeden and Paige. Stephanie is committed to volunteering and commits her free time to local and state levels of the Miss America Organization mentoring and coaching young women toward scholarship. She also devotes time to Beloit Regional Hospice and the Southern WI Humane Society. She fancies herself a foodie and (very) amateur chef, loves to try new things in new places, and is enamored with her baby niece, Penelope.
