Rich was personally referred to us by another BHR patient and Ironman athlete Scott Tinley.
“Thank you so much again for your help in getting me back on the road. As an athlete, you gave me hope that I could continue my active lifestyle, which is a great thing to have. Whether it’s triathlon, stair climbing, hiking, rock climbing, etc… I am very happy to be able to continue these activities and plan to continue them well into my later years! I had a fantastic experience with you and your team from the first consultation, in which you gave me all the time to discuss all aspects and questions regarding hip resurfacing, to my completion at HipHab. I cannot thank you enough for all your support. You are a true professional.”– Rich
2017 Update: Rich completed the full iron distance race in New Zealand – Challenge Wanaka, finishing second in his age group (60-69)!
2016 Update: Rich had his 5 year post-op left BHR check up and shared that he beat last year’s time in the Presidential Towers stair climb by one whole minute and finished 5th in his age group, and 54th overall out of 1,156 participants. He is now gearing up for his triathlon in New Zealand in Feb. 2017. He also enjoys indoor rock climbing to stay in incredible shape. Keep up the great work Rich, you are an inspiration!
2015 Update: Rich was recently in the office for his 4 year left BHR check up. He had just competed in the Presidential Towers stair climb fundraising race for the American Lung Association in Chicago, and placed 78th out of more than 1,000 participants. Each tower climb is 45 floors, or 585 steps. He climbed all four towers in 25 minutes and 32 seconds for a total of 180 floors and 2,340 steps. Now that is impressive!
